In June 2015, the Union minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Rajavardhan
Singh Rathore has claimed that the special armed forces have carried on a military operation
in Myanmar territory and returned safely after annihilating the militants. He also said that this
action was carried out in the light of Prime Minister Modi’s “very bold step” and ‘go ahead”
signal in “hot pursuit” of militants.
