The world economic crisis, which struck various countries with different intensity, is cyclical in
nature, developing in the worsening general crisis that set in the middle of last century. It is
accentuating all the basic contradictions: between capital and labour; between various imperialist
countries, and between imperialism and oppressed nations and people of the world.
