Homage to Ashok Mitra
Ashok Mitra, former finance minister of West Bengal, passed away in Kolkata due ill health. Born in pre-Independent East Bengal, Mitra first studied at Dhaka University, then Banaras Hindu University, and completed a doctorate in The Netherlands.
